Screenprinting enables us to apply a detailed, large image to cloth items. Screenprinting was invented by the Japanese centuries ago using screens made of silk, and is a very versatile process—it can be applied to many mediums. Eat More Tees uses screenprinting for transfer of images onto cloth.

Our graphic artists are the first step in tranferring your image onto an item. Our artists can create designs for you from scratch, adapt an existing furnished design, or copy a "camera ready" design verbatim.

Often we can separate your design into several pure or "match" colors. Or, for a 4-color (or "Full Color") design, we utilize Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black inks to transfer a photographic image exactly.

Each color requires a separate screen be applied to your item. Once the colors are separated into individual "plates," we transfer these pattens onto thin, permeable screens made of tightly woven polymers.

Our screens are coated in a light-sensitive photo emulsion. We then cover or "black out" the parts of the emulsion where your design will be, and expose the screen to a high-powered light which causes the exposed parts of the emulsion to harden. Then the covered, unexposed portions of the emulsion are washed away, leaving uncovered portions in the screen corresponding to your design.

At Eat More Tees we use our computer to trace your logo or design and translate it into a thread pattern, which our machines will sew into your custom garmet or item. Once programmed with your pattern, our embroidery machines can quickly render your design on many items at once, and the pattern can be recalled and used again.

After the initial pattern is made and fed into the embroidery machine, we can make a sample pattern for your inspection. It is at this time that, if necessary, any modifications can be made in the design before your logo is embroidered onto your custom items.

Although the embroidery process is quickly executed by machines, our skilled technicians set and load the machines, and carefully monitor your items to ensure the highest quality. Our technicians also determine how exactly the embroidery machines will render your logo pattern—the density of stitches as well as the type of stitches.

We embroider all manner of items—from tote bags to caps to golf shirts. It's only limited to your imagination, really. We find that embroidery gives a very refined and professional look to logo apparel, appropriate for promotional items, uniform or club wear, or name-personalized uniform wear.
